Femtosecond Fiber LasersThe Carmel X-series of femtosecond fiber lasers from Calmar Laser Inc. provide high power, ultrashort pulses, and high stability in a compact package for OEM, scientific and industrial applications.

The X-920 is the latest member of the product family, with pulse widths <120 fs and  >600 mW of output power at 920 nm, an ideal wavelength for multiphoton imaging of green fluorescent protein variants. The Carmel X-series is a range of high power, air-cooled, 780-, 920-, or 1550-nm fiber-based femtosecond lasers with output powers from 0.2 to >1 W.

With pulse widths of <90 fs in a small, user-friendly package, the Carmel provides a source for a wide range of ultrafast laser applications, including bioimaging, multiphoton microscopy, optical metrology, 3D microprinting, terahertz imaging and ophthalmology.
