Spectra-Physics has announced the Spirit One, a new femtosecond laser that enables advancement in high-precision applications.
With ultrashort <400-fs pulse width, high pulse energy, average power output and repetition rate up to 1 MHz, the laser combines the power supply and laser head in a single rugged, compact and lightweight package.
Applications include microsurgery, micromachining, medical device manufacturing, optogenics and multiphoton microscopy.
