MARTINSRIED, Germany, Nov. 9, 2020 — Femtosecond Ytterbium LaserThe YLMO-Seed Femtosecond Ytterbium Laser from Menlo Systems GmbH is a fiber laser oscillator with low amplitude and phase noise.

The laser’s figure 9® technology delivers reliable and consistent mode locking, which is ideally suited to ensure long-term stable operation. The polarization-maintaining fiber design provides high stability and low noise, even in harsh environments with high fluctuations in temperature. As a seed source for amplifiers, the YLMO-Seed offers easy integration and maintenance-free operation. Its wavelength is factory set between 1030 and 1064 nm, ±1 nm, and its average power is >200 mW at 50 MHz.

Applications include laser micromachining, amplifier seeding, and ultrafast spectroscopy.
