JenoptikLaserdiode.jpgSuitable for medical applications and for pumping solid-state and fiber lasers, the JOLD-100-CPXF-2P W passively cooled diode laser from Jenoptik Laserdiode GmbH has a 0.22-NA, a 400-μm fiber core and an optical power output of 100 W at center wavelengths between 915 and 976 nm at 25 °C. A version of the laser with a 600-μm fiber core and an optical power of up to 140 W also is available. Each product features an integrated temperature sensor and pilot laser and can be cooled with industrial water containing particles up to 0.5 mm in diameter.
