QUEBEC CITY, Canada, Dec. 10, 2014 — Exfo Inc. has announced the release of the iCERT fiber certification tool for its optical time-domain reflectometry (OTDR) software.

Available for single-mode and multimode fiber testing, iCERT predefined test configurations provide quick access to the latest industry pass/fail thresholds to automatically certify cable installations in data centers and enterprises. Optical link assessment and troubleshooting are simplified, helping avoid tempered results due to incorrect manual data entry or the misinterpretation of extensive, complex standards documents.

Exfo’s iOLM software provides accurate insertion loss, optical-return loss and fiber length measurements.
