QUEBEC CITY, Oct. 2, 2015 — Intended for data centers and enterprise markets, a device from Exfo Inc. offers automated loss, length and polarity certification of fiber optic links against international industry standards.

The MaxTester 940 fiber certifier optical loss test set is designed to help installation contractors, network engineers and information technology maintenance technicians achieve faster system acceptance.

Integrated Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity supports Exfo Connect cloud-based test asset management. On-board reporting capabilities allow technicians to document their work live from the field.

Both the main and remote units have full-fledged feature sets and are compatible with the company's FIP-400B automated inspection probe series to quickly inspect connector end faces at both ends.
