HICKORY, N.C., Feb. 10, 2015 — US Conec MTP connector kitThe new MTP connector kit from US Conec supports direct coupling to 900-μm loose- or tight-buffered fibers.

The 900-μm MTP connector kit mechanically couples the buffer tubes, eliminating the need for epoxy in the critical cable-exit portion of the connector.

Transition components can also be used independently from the connector, resulting in an ultracompact ribbon fiber to a 900-μm breakout kit for factory or field installation.

Loose buffer tubes can be furcated over an MTP ribbon connector pigtail which has been fanned out into individual 250-μm coated fibers.
