Siskiyou Corp. has announced single-mode fiber couplers to incorporate optics for focusing laser light into a fiber-couple connectorized single-mode fiber optic.

Ultrahigh resolution, differential adjusters and a mechanical design decouple tip/tilt adjustment from focus, delivering the necessary precision to achieve optimum coupling efficiency into single-mode fibers in a small volume. Tip/tilt mechanical adjustment permits accurate positioning of the focused beam, with respect to the fiber end.

The devices are designed for researchers and instrument builders.
