Fiber Frequency CombThe FFC-100 erbium-based fiber frequency comb from Vescent Photonics LLC features the MLL-100 mode-locked laser with a semiconductor saturable-absorber mirror (SESAM) mode locker for longevity.

The comb delivers sub-100-fs seed pulses to a highly nonlinear fiber for supercontinuum generation. ƒCEO and ƒopt is locked for long-term stability which will support the requirements of the next generation of optical clocks while entirely fitting into a 2U 19-in. rack mount chassis. With >30 mW of power in the supercontinuum spectrum, factory-matchable repetition rates to 5 kHz, and high bandwidth control over repetition rate, the FFC-100 can be used for multi-comb spectroscopy, low-phase-noise radio frequency generation, frequency ruler work, and more.
