VANCOUVER, Wash., Oct. 27, 2016 — Fiber Laser SourcesThe alta fiber laser sources from nLight Corp. are a new high-power laser platform designed for advanced industrial metal cutting and welding applications.

For stable processing of polished stainless, aluminum, brass, and copper, novel back reflection isolation technology allows uninterrupted, full-power processing of highly reflective materials. The fiber laser design enables tool integrators or end users to manage maintenance and service, which results in higher machine uptime, lower cost of ownership and improved customer experience.

The alta fiber laser sources are available at power levels from 500 W to 8 kW.
