Gulf Fiberoptics Inc. has launched a line of fiber optic assemblies, in both standard and enhanced grades, for spectroscopy and sensing applications. The assemblies will include a variety of patch and bifurcated cables, and reflection probes for use in the UV through NIR spectral range. Their fiber core material is pure silica, and all feature a numerical aperture of 0.22 ± 0.02 and a full acceptance cone of 25.4°, and they offer polyimide fiber buffer or coating. The patch and bifurcated cable assemblies are available as either single or bundle fibers, while the reflection probes are offered with multiple branching.
