General Photonics Fiber Coil"A key element in a fiber optic gyro is the fiber coil. Its quality and consistent performance determine the overall accuracy of the fiber optic gyroscope. Our proprietary winding process, adhesive, and patented instrumentation are used to assure superior specifications. The resulting fiber optic gyros therefore have excellent scale factors and bias stability over their full operation temperature range (0.5 deg /h ~ 0.001 deg/h ).
