New fiber optic signaling products are available from Micronor for use in harsh or hazardous industrial environments and medical applications.

The MR382 series fiber optic U-beam sensor is a general-purpose photointerruption/slot sensor typically used as a gear tooth speed sensor, edge detector or proximity sensor.

Both the MR382 and the MR380 series emergency stop module consist of a passive optical sensor that links to a remote controller module via multimode fiber optic link up to 2500 m away.
