The fiber optic transceiver line from L-com has been expanded to offer 300 additional models, with various supported wavelengths, distances, and data rates.
The coarse wavelength division multiplexing (CWDM) transceivers are offered with additional eight different wavelengths from 1470 to 1610 nm, in 20-nm increments. The dense wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM) transceivers are offered in 40 different channels, from 20 through 59 with 1530.33- to 1561.41-nm wavelengths in 0.8-nm increments. Some models support fiber optic lines of up to 120 km at both Gbit Ethernet and SONET OC-48 data rates. Additionally, the line features grey 1- and 10-G optics for multimode and single-mode fiber deployments.
