The USB-FiberShutter from Picard Industries offers a
compact and simple method of automating the blocking of a fiber optic beam path.
The light-tight housing features fiber cable mounts separated by a pivoting-paddle
shutter blade powered and controlled through a USB port. This provides a self-powered, hot-pluggable method of control.
Included application software operates on any standard PC running Windows XP or
higher. LabView drivers and DLL files are provided for integrating the shutter control into users’
own automation.
