Upgrading its fiber fusion splicer series, Fujikura Europe Ltd. has announced the 22S splicer for single fibers.
An active V-groove model, the splicer is designed for high-end, fiber-to-the-home splicer applications in fiber to the x systems, data centers, local area networks and access networks.
The 22S provides storage for 200 splices and offers 5- to 16-mm short-cleave-length splicing.
