Fiber Transceivers32-G Fiber Channel Transceivers from Smartoptics AS are supported for embedded use in fiber-channel-capable switches.

The simplicity of the embedded solution enables a compact building practice, low power consumption, and an improved time-to-operation due to short delivery and installation time of new transceivers.

The modules feature a SFP28 form factor and are designed for dense wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM) optical communication compliant to 8-G, 16-G and 32-G standards. The transceivers can be used with passive filters and active open line systems to extend the reach between data centers to up to 80 km.
