Field SpectroradiometerThe RS-8800 field spectroradiometer from Spectral Evolution Inc. is a full-range, high-resolution, high-sensitivity system with an Internet of Things (IoT) operating system that allows operation by iPhone, Android, or tablet.

In combination with the Sensa/Tilt gimbal stabilized fiber holder, researchers can access and store more important field data in addition to their scans, including a picture of the exact sample field of view, the scan angle, the sun height angle, and the GPS location.

The SR-8800 runs on lithium-ion batteries for a full day of scanning. It is equipped with a custom backpack for field use.
