IGNY, France, March 15, 2021 — Field Test BenchThe OPAL Field Test Bench from HGH Infrared Systems SAS is a multispectral portable bench for the test and maintenance of military optoelectronic devices.

OPAL is a compact collimator with IR and visible reference sources such as a blackbody, integrating sphere, and specific targets and filters for field applications. Its modular and versatile configuration, complete with a ruggedized PC loaded with dedicated, exhaustive test software, make it ideal for military use.

The device facilitates the testing of thermal and SWIR imagers, night vision goggles, TV cameras or day goggles, laser rangefinders and illuminators, multispectral portable devices, and weapon sights with thermal, intensifier tubes, and laser rangefinder modules.
