Fizeau InterferometerThe AccuFiz® Fizeau interferometer from 4D Technology Corp. now features a 9-MP camera for higher slope tolerance through superior spatial resolution.

AccuFiz instruments are used for qualifying the shape and flatness of optical surfaces like mirrors and lenses, along with measuring the transmitted wavefront error of optical systems and the homogeneity of optical materials. The camera can resolve surfaces with high slopes and up to 1250 interference fringes/field of view. It also provides a greater tolerance in measuring isolated islands of data in a measurement. Options such as switchable dynamic acquisition, a full range of apertures from 100 to 600 mm in diameter, and a range of operating wavelengths from 532 to 1550 nm are available.
