HUDSON, N.H., July 12, 2013 — Designed for production applications, Flexpoint laser modules by Laser Components are now offered with green 520-nm laser diodes.

Two output powers are available: 30 and 50 mW. Both can be set to operate at lower power levels in production, so all power levels of ≤50 mW can be achieved.

Compared with diode-pumped solid-state lasers, these lasers offer improved optical output power stability, significantly faster modulation with shorter rise times and lower temperature sensitivity. They operate at temperatures up to 60 °C.

The 520-nm diodes can be integrated into all of the company’s lasers, including dot, line and crosshair lasers. They are also compatible with the Flexpoint MV machine vision series.
