Fluorescence Filter SetsThe ULTRA SERIES of Fluorescence Filter Sets from Alluxa Inc. was developed for use in real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction applications such as COVID-19 testing.

The series includes the Cy®5 ULTRA Fluorescence Filter Set for LED light sources, designed as LED-optimized, single-band optical set, providing bright, high-contrast images of CY®5-stained samples, Quasar 670®, and all associated fluorophores. The FAM ULTRA Fluorescence Filter Set for LED light sources is an LED-optimized, single-band optical filter set for FAM, Fluorescein, and other associated fluorophores. Other models are available to meet user specifications.

The steep filters feature >OD6 blocking out of the band, along with center wavelength tolerances of <±0.3% offering high transmission levels available with a passband T average of >95%.
