Horiba Scientific UltimaThe Ultima time-correlated single-photon counting (TCSPC) fluorescence lifetime system from Horiba Scientific (a division of Horiba Instruments Inc.) is optimized for short-lifetime measurements with its 400-fs/point time resolution.

The device features a measurement range of 100 ns to seconds, flexibility of 16-kB time channels and a USB PC connection. It can also be configured for use with multichannel plates, femtosecond lasers, near-infrared detectors and excitation and emission monochromators.

Ultima combines high-temporal-resolution TCSPC electronics, interchangeable high-speed light sources, detector technologies and the FluoroCube optical platform.
