Nightsea offers a range of fluorescence resources for educational and other settings.

Its Stereomicroscope Fluorescence Adapter (pictured) adds fluorescence capability to routine stereo microscopes. Applications include fluorescence-guided dissection and injection, micromanipulation, genetic studies, mineral characterization and defect detection.

For children who don’t yet have the coordination to look through a microscope, Nightsea’s BlueStar flashlights and goggles reveal inclusions in rocks, genetic features in fly larvae and hidden structures on coral and small sea creatures.

The company also offers the Eclipse MicroTent to provide portable, on-demand darkness for study in the field. The tent includes a battery supply for the Stereomicroscope Fluorescence Adapter.
