The GelDoc-It TS high-resolution fluorescence imaging system from UVP Inc. offers touch-screen capabilities and a built-in computer and software, making it easier to select various settings, including image integration time, saturation warning and print options. Incorporating a CCD camera and zoom lens, the system is designed to capture images of gels, plates and membranes. To accommodate multiple users, it has a USB memory stick that allows individuals to save captured images and return to their workstations for analysis or further documentation. A live preview of images may be seen on the 8-in. monitor. The device’s darkroom has a wide access door and a UV-blocking viewing window.
