SPARTANBURG, S.C., Aug. 25, 2014 — The Focis Flex system from AFL is a self-contained, tether-free, handheld optical fiber connector inspection probe.

The system automatically focuses, captures, centers and analyzes end-face images to display, transfer or store pass/fail results. It is available with a range of interchangeable adapter tips to support the inspection of a variety of patch cords and bulkhead-mounted connectors with either PC or APC polished end-faces.

Focis Flex can be paired via Bluetooth with the FLX380 or OFL280 FlexTester optical time-domain reflectometers.
