ALLEN, Texas, April 4, 2019 — Four-Channel Sampling OscilloscopeA four-channel sampling oscilloscope option has been announced for Anritsu Co.’s BERTWave MP2110A test solution.

The single-instrument solution integrates an oscilloscope and 100G BERT. With this option, the BERTWave can cost-efficiently and accurately evaluate the physical layer performance of 100/400-G optical transceiver modules, active optical cables, direct attach cables, and high-speed optical devices used in data centers, core/metro networks, 4/5-G mobile backhaul, and 5-G mobile fronthaul.

The BERTWave MP2110A, with the sampling oscilloscope option installed, supports various technologies including NRZ/PAM4 signaling formats and different wavelengths. It can be used by engineers in development and manufacturing environments to ensure products and systems comply with a variety of transmission standards including Ethernet, eCPRI/RoE, CPRI, SDH/SONET, OTN, InfiniBand, and Fibre Channel.
