Matrox Imaging has announced the Matrox Radient eV-CXP frame grabber for 3D profiling.

Offering camera flexibility with the CoaXPress interface standard, the PCI Express frame grabber performs laser line extraction necessary for 3D profiling on the card itself, reducing system demand and freeing resources to be used toward inspection tasks.

Capable of extracting 9,000 profiles/s with no host CPU usage, the device is ideal for use in inspection tasks in printed circuit board production, road and rail maintenance, and food analysis.
