Teledyne Dalsa Xtium-CL MX4Teledyne Dalsa (part of Teledyne Technologies Corp.) has announced the Xtium-CL MX4 frame grabber, a Camera Link-compatible image processing board that delivers high-speed images to host memory.

Taking advantage of the PCIe Gen 2.0 × 4 platform, the frame grabber delivers bandwidth in excess of 1.7 GB/s and continues to support PCIe Gen 1.0 with 850 MB/s throughput. The newly engineered on-board data transfer engine produces maximum bandwidth without the need for specialized motherboards or chipsets.

Applications include color print, flat panel and general machine vision inspections.
