HAIFA, Israel, Feb. 1, 2016 — Kaya Instruments has announced the support of Advanced Micro Devices Inc.’s workstation graphics processor units (GPUs) in its frame grabbers.

Integration of GPU and frame grabber cards within imaging processing paths for high-speed machine vision applications is necessary for high-performance and real-time applications.

The ability to support high-bandwidth direct image transfers from a frame grabber to GPU memory enables customers to utilize the full multiteraflop power of AMD FirePro cards for image processing, greatly reducing system CPU requirement and utilization.
