TowerJazz and Gpixel Inc. have announced the release of Gpixel’s GMAX3005 150-MP full-frame CMOS image sensor, which uses TowerJazz’s TS18IS technology. The sensor is suitable for the medical, industrial and scientific imaging markets.

The CMOS image sensor delivers stitching technology for wafer-scale die size, and pixel and process customization capabilities.
