Roithner Lasertechnik has released green diode-pumped YAG laser modules with powers starting at 1 mW up to 50 mW continuous wave. They emit a bright green light at 532 nm and have a typical lifetime of 10,000 h. A drive current can be applied with an optional external 110/220 VAC power supply or with 3-VDC battery-operated current source. Drive current depends on output power but is typically between 600 mA and <1.2 A.
