Photon Control Inc. has added the FluoTemp GT-HT high-temperature converter to its optical sensor product line.
The instrument combines accuracy, reliability and enhanced diagnostics even when exposed to high temperature and electromagnetic interference (EMI) environments. It measures from −80 to 450 °C, with accuracy of ±0.05 °C. It has a robust aluminum enclosure that is designed for high-EMI applications in the semiconductor, power and life sciences sectors, where precision and accuracy are critical.
A long-lasting LED light source enables uninterrupted operation for extended durations. The enhanced diagnostics feature probe and light source health monitoring via RS-485 or RS-232, helping to reduce or eliminate costly unscheduled system downtime.
The FluoTemp GT-HT has an operating range of −20 to 60 °C and is compatible with a variety of the company’s optical sensor temperature probes in various core sizes and lengths. It supports Labview and Visual Basic/.Net. Available in single- and multiple-channel versions, the system features 35-mm DIN-rail mounting and modular packaging.
