The GelDoc-It TS system for fluorescent and colorimetric imaging features a tiltable 15-in. VGA screen. Available from UVP LLC, its high-resolution CCD camera with conveniently located zoom lens enables imaging and analysis of gels, plates and membranes. Its touch screen capabilities and built-in computer and software facilitate the selection of settings, including image integration time, saturation warning and print options. Images can be saved to the computer or USB memory stick, or they can be transferred to other computers or networks via file transfer protocol. The modular design enables the addition of converter plates and UV lamps.
