TAUFKIRCHEN, Germany, Sept. 7, 2018 — Global Shutter Block CameraFRAMOS GmbH has announced the MP2030M-GS global shutter block camera from Tamron.

The MP2030M-GS is equipped with Sony’s IMX265, an industrial grade 1/1.8-in. global shutter CMOS sensor. This camera is combined with a built-in high-power 30zoom lens and is suitable for both wide angle and telephoto pictures. In addition, the advanced feature set allows for both day and night conditions in security, surveillance, or traffic applications.

The device’s sensor provides 3.19-MP resolution with high light sensitivity and guarantees excellent picture quality with low noise. There is a possibility to select between various output modes from NTSC/PAL to 1080p/60. The imager prevents motion blur in the images when capturing fast moving objects. The field of view is between 60 and 2.5° and features an f-stop between 1.5 and 4.8, depending on the zoom factor.
