The global shutter mini board camera from Videology Imaging Solutions Inc. is a small, affordable, and unreadable camera family with five-year minimum product life cycles.
A global shutter mitigates the effect of motion blur and can retain information that may hide within the blur. Rolling shutter cameras with standard frame rates do not. USB 3 allows display of Videology’s 25B1.2XU3 up to 106 fps in global shutter using VGA resolution. Binning and skipping maintains high sensitivity.
The multifunctionality of the 25B1.2XU3 is beneficial for several applications. With a true monochrome sensor and sensitivity in NIR up to 1.1 μm, minimal Illumination with popular 750- to 940-nm range LEDs is needed. Fluorescence and microscopy applications also benefit.
