Global Shutter SensorThe OX05B1S global shutter sensor from OmniVision Technologies Inc. is designed for in-cabin monitoring systems in automotive applications.

The 5-MP RGB-IR device features a pixel size of 2.2 µm, offering 940-nm NIR sensitivity for high performance in low-light conditions. It has a wide field of view and enough pixels to view both the driver and occupants. Cybersecurity is also integrated.

Its Nyxel® technology uses novel silicon semiconductor architectures and processes to achieve a quantum efficiency of 36%, providing clarity in occupant and driver monitoring, security, selfies, videoconferencing, and more.
