Gloves for Optical Manufacturing
Data Optics Inc.Request Info
Data Optics Inc. has released new gloves for optical manufacturing applications. Several styles are available to accommodate handling, cleaning, assembly and inspection of optical and optoelectronic elements. All are cleanroom-compatible.
The washable and reusable gloves are designed for handling delicate parts, and they do not impair dexterity or touch-sensitivity. They are made of a completely seamless knit of lint-free, continuous-filament nylon or polyester. A special process seals the finger openings for no loose fibers.
The gloves can be used under laminar flow hoods and in cleanroom environments to Class 100 and are also available cleanroom-laundered and -processed to Class 100.
Options include the GN120 ultrathin nylon glove, which can be worn alone or as a liner under vinyl, latex or nitrile disposable gloves or finger cots. They offer ambidextrous and stretch fit; one size fits all.
The antistatic, medium-weight GN132CF is designed with carbon fibers to discharge potentially harmful electrostatic charges that could damage sensitive optoelectronic devices. The nylon glove has 13-gauge continuous filament for long wear and a comfortable fit and is available in sizes from small to extra large.
The medium-weight GN130 nylon glove also has 13-gauge continuous filament and is available in sizes from small to extra large. The GP130 lint-free polyester knit glove also is available.
