AHRENSBURG, Germany, Dec. 17, 2013 — The Goldeye shortwave-infrared (SWIR) camera from Allied Vision Technologies GmbH is suitable for industrial machine vision applications.

Offering sensitivity between 900 and 1700 nm, the camera features a built-in sensor-cooling system that works without a fan. The ultracompact-form-factor fitting screw threads on all sides simplify integration into an image-processing system, and the camera features a 12-pin Hirose I/O port for trigger and synchronization with other system components.

The camera features a GigE Vision-compliant Gigabit Ethernet interface and supports Power over Ethernet. It can be fitted with various filters and lenses with C-, F- and M42-mounts.
