Graded-index multimode fiber by Fibercore is designed for harsh environments.

The fiber features a 50-µm pure silica core and 125-µm cladding. It also features an extended range of specialty coatings, including carbon, high-temperature acrylate and polyimide.

It can be used for downhole distributed sensing and structural monitoring in radiation environments.
