SANTA CLARA, Calif., June 29, 2015 — Coherent RevolutionThe new Revolution series of Q-switched, pulsed lasers from Coherent Inc. provides average power up to 80 W at a wavelength of 527 nm with excellent beam profile and smooth energy distribution.

The diode-pumped Nd:YLF lasers use efficient intracavity frequency doubling to generate green output from the near-infrared (1054 nm) fundamental. Their repetition rates can be adjusted smoothly from single shot to 10 kHz, with an option that extends pulse repetition rates up to 40 kHz.

Applications include pumping ultrafast amplifiers, both multipass and regenerative, based on Ti:sapphire, as well as precision materials processing such as semiconductor wafer annealing.
