Deposition-Sciences.jpgAvailable from Deposition Sciences Inc., the HeatBuster Xenon and UV Xenon hot mirror filters are designed to work in systems with xenon lamps. The optics offer enhanced blocking in the 800- to 950-nm range, where the heat output from the lamp is highest. Developed to be durable and to withstand heat efficiently, the filters have high transmission in the visible spectrum. The Xenon, which also blocks the UV portion of the spectrum, protects other components from the lamp’s heat and UV radiation. It also can be used as a filter for a CMOS chip. Suitable for UV curing systems and biofluorescence applications, the UV Xenon model transmits the UV portion of the spectrum down to 340 nm.
