IRVINE, Calif., July 18, 2014 — The HXP100P hexapod from Newport Corp. features two programmable pivot points and Newport’s proprietary RightPath trajectory control.

The hexapod has a centered load capacity of 6 kg and uses RightPath to control the lines and arc movement, following the user’s easily defined path.

The device can be used for complex motion applications like fiber alignment and precision optics assembly.
