GOLETA, Calif., June 22, 2023 — The FLIR E8 Pro from Teledyne FLIR is an upgraded handheld thermal camera for thermography inspections.

The E8 Pro features a larger, 3.5-in. touchscreen than its predecessor, along with FLIR Ignite Cloud connectivity, allowing users to share captured images with colleagues and clients over Wi-Fi. The touchscreen also enables on-screen annotations to highlight findings. The camera combines a 5-MP digital camera with a powerful thermal camera, utilizing Multi-Spectral Dynamic Imaging (MSX®) technology to overlay visible camera edge detail onto the thermal image for improved detail and contextual awareness. The E8 Pro is rugged and drop-tested, with a long battery life of up to four hours. It can automatically sync with the FLIR Ignite application for easy access to images and videos, and compatibility with FLIR Thermal Studio software allows for instant review, analysis, and reporting of findings.
