Foreal Spectrum Inc. has launched high-performance, ion-beam-sputtered hard coatings on single substrates, filters and components for biotechnological, analytical and laser instrumentation. The fluorescence filter sets provide more than 92% transmission and OD >6 blocking, and they exhibit low autofluorescence, with no pixel shifting. The laser line filters have more than 90% transmission, are ultranarrow (FWHM <0.3% central wavelength tolerance) and have steep slopes.
