SaintGobain.jpgA series of high-performance harmonic separators has been introduced by Saint-Gobain Crystals for use with high-power solid-state lasers. The Alpine Research Optics-brand separators are all dichroic beamsplitters that can be used for either splitting or combining the 266-, 355-, 532- and 1064-nm harmonics of Nd:YAG and Nd:YVO4 lasers. Both short- and long-wave pass as well as 0° and 45° incidence designs are available. Near-IR and visible wavelength optics are provided on optical-grade fused silica substrates. Standard specifications include λ/10 flatness at 633 nm and 10-5 scratch-dig surface quality. The separators are suitable for use in semiconductor fabrication, display manufacturing, solar cell production and other micromachining applications.
