Helium leak detectors and vacuum pumpsThe Pfeiffer Vacuum ASM 340 is an easy-to-use, high performance, and durable leak detector providing short cycle times and high throughput. It is used for leak checking vacuum systems that are used in manufacturing of photonic devices and ensuring leak tightness of final hermetic sealed products. The ASM 340 performs helium or hydrogen leak detection with sensitivity down to 5x 10-12 mbar l/s in vacuum mode and 5x10-9 mbar l/s in sniffing mode. Featuring a vibrant color touch panel display with SD card the detector is easy to set up and use. A wireless remote control enables operation from a distance of up to 330 feet.

In addition to leak detection, Pfeiffer Vacuum dry pumps and turbopumps are used in many laser applications such as material processing, communication, medical, military, lithography, and instrumentation. Also, there is need for vacuum products in manufacturing of material processing lasers, customer electronics, and medical, as well as LED in automotive and outdoor lighting.
