RODEN, Netherlands, Sept. 2, 2014 — Designed to capture the dim light of fluorescence, the HiCAM Fluo high-speed camera from Lambert Instruments has a 2.9-megapixel sensor for fluorescence applications.

The camera’s integrated image intensifier boosts the intensity of incoming light and ensures clear images. A frame rate of 540 fps is delivered at full resolution in the most challenging low-light conditions, while lower resolutions can achieve 5000 fps. An advanced cooling system provides stable temperatures for optimal performance.

Applications include in vivo imaging of biological samples, microfluidics and laser induced fluorescence. A compact aluminum enclosure makes the device easily attachable to all fluorescence microscopes.
