BARRINGTON, N.J., July 14, 2011 — Edmund Optics has introduced high-dynamic-range cameras that provide high-quality images from the visible to the near-infrared for a variety of applications.

They provide 50-fps image capture and feature a dynamic range of 120 dB, which allows for a vast array of lighting levels. They are suitable for use in applications with bright backlight portions, rapidly changing light levels and reflective parts that produce hot spots that can bloom the camera sensor.

For convenience and ease of use, they are available with USB and Gigabit Ethernet interfaces, and a power supply and cable, sold separately, are required for both options. The cameras are in-stock and available for immediate delivery.
