NEWBURY PARK, Calif., June 11 -- Opto Diode Corp., a supplier of standard and custom LEDs, infrared and visible, has introduced its first high-performance photodiode. The ODD-5W (5mm²) silicon PIN photodiode is now in production at Opto Diode's US-based facility.
The photodiodes have excellent responsivity from 400 nm to 1100 nm, exhibit low dark current, low capacitance 
and feature a 2.52-mm active area diameter. Storage and operating temperature ranges from -55 degrees to 100 degrees C.
